A. Plant and Animal diversity In Indonesia

Of course, you have known that Indonesia is located between two continents of Asia and Australia as well as between two ocean like Indian Ocean and Pacific ocean. Indonesia has various plant and animal are so diversity. Variation is caused by external factors are temperature,food,land and internal factors are gene recombination.

We should be proud because some of plants species only grow and found in Indonesia, for example Rafflesia Arnoldi only grow and found in the island of Sumatera. Indonesia has Various animals, animals living in Papua are similiar to those living Australia, example kangoroo and casuary birds. We also must proud with some of animals only live and found in Indonesia, such as komodo,anoa, and maleo birds.

B. Scarce Plants and Animals

One way to preserve scarce plants and animals for not disappear are cultivate them. The importance scarce plants and animals not only for  center of clothes, food, housing, and medicines but biodiversity also to keep environmental stability.

C. Biodiversity Destruction

God grant high biodiversity in Indonesia but many people in Indonesia damage and reduce biodiversity such as poaching, forest destruction,  excessive fertilizer and pesticide use.

D. BIODIVERSITY PRESERVATION

Several action those can preserve biodiversity are :

• Maintaning forest preservation
• Determaining natural protection area
• Breading almost ectinct flora and fauna
• Rehabilitating scarce animals.
